Sun,2 aug 2020.The District Administration Office, Dhanusha, has issued a restraining order in Janakpur for seven days from Monday night.
According to Chief District Officer Prem Prasad Bhattarai, the ban will take effect from 12 noon on Monday. Chief District Officer Bhattarai said that the ban will be tightened as the risk of corona is increasing day by day in Janakpurdham sub-metropolitan area. He informed that no one can go out of the house except the designated person.
In order to control and prevent corona infection and controlled further spread of the infection, all services and sites will be closed for a week from 12 noon on Monday except for the essential services prescribed in the Nepal printing, said Bhattarai. According to Bhattarai, a prohibition order has been issued in Janakpurdham sub-metropolis as per the decision of the District Security Committee as per Section 6930 of the Local Administration Act, 2028 BS and Section 2 of the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020 BS.
The administration provides services such as pharmacies, selling essential goods, food, fruits and vegetables, hospital and health center operations, transportation of goods and construction, government printing press, communication services, banking services, internal security, drinking water operation and distribution, petroleum. Transportation, storage and distribution of goods, garbage collection and transportation, electricity service, agricultural work and agricultural and livestock products, means of transportation, workshops are mentioned as essential services.
