[Prohibition order added again in Kathmandu]
Lately, the infection of corona in all the three districts of Kathmandu Valley has been increasing day by day. Meanwhile, a meeting of the District Crisis Management Centers (DCCMCs) of the three districts has recommended extending the ban for one more week till midnight on September 3. The meeting was attended by the chief district officers of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur, according to a Kathmandu district administration source.

The recommendation made by the meeting held on Tuesday afternoon has been approved by the security committees of the three districts. And the implementation process has also started. According to an official of the district administration in Kathmandu, the administration offices are preparing to take a decision after taking necessary opinions and suggestions from the home ministry and the prime minister’s office.
The DCCMC, chaired by the Chief District Officer, also has people’s representatives. Earlier, restraining orders have been issued in three districts from August 19 to midnight. Preparations have been made to tighten the ban saying that the movement of people has not been stopped except for urgent work.
