From today ! Transportation will be operated in Kathmandu in a odd-even system.

The Odd-even system has been implemented in private and public vehicles from Thursday (today).
According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, public and private vehicles without emergency services will be operated on the basis of odd-even number in the Kathmandu Valley and more than 200 active infected areas of Covid-19.

Similarly, it has been decided to strictly enforce the ban on all passenger vehicles entering the Kathmandu Valley from 7 pm to 7 am, said Ministry Spokesperson Chakra Bahadur Budha.

Similarly, traffic will be closed from 9 pm to 5 am in more than 200 active infected districts. Strict adherence to the public health standards issued by the Ministry of Health and Population and the safety standards issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs.

“As per the decision of the government of Nepal, it is strictly prohibited to enter the international border checkpoints except for those who have been granted entry permits. It is also prohibited to hold banquets, parties, seminars or other gatherings in hotels and restaurants,” said a statement issued by the spokesperson.

Similarly, after analyzing the risk of infection with Covid-19, the District Covid Crisis Management Center will decide to close the risk areas immediately and make arrangements for further testing of Covid-19, the ministry said.
