Bayern Munich have won the UEFA Super Cup. Bayern beat Spanish club Sevilla 2-1 to win the Super Cup. The UEFA Super Cup is played every year between the Champions League winners and the Europa League winners. Xavi Martinez scored the decisive goal for Bayern in the 104th minute, before Lucas Ocampos scored from the penalty spot for Sevilla in the 13th minute and Leon for Bayern in the 34th minute. Goretzka equalized with a goal.
Bayern also won the Super Cup for the second time. Bayern had previously won the title in 2013. So far, Barcelona and Inter Milan have won the Super Cup five times, while Real Madrid and Liverpool have won the title four times and Atletico Madrid three times.
