The Indian Army has gifted ten ICU ventilators to the Nepal Army so as not to create an uncomfortable situation to fight the global epidemic of COVID-19. Ambassador of India to Nepal Vinay Mohan Quatra handed over the ventilators to Chief of Army Staff Purnachandra Thapa at a function held at the battlefield today.
The Indian Army has been assisting the Nepal Army for a long time for humanitarian assistance and relief. According to the Indian Embassy here, the ventilators were donated as part of ongoing humanitarian assistance between the two countries’ armies.

During the handover, Ambassador Quatra said that India was committed to provide all necessary assistance to the people of Nepal for the victory in the fight against Kovid-19. Chief of Army Staff Thapa thanked the Indian Army for providing medical equipment.
