India officially states that Buddha was born in Nepal.<\/p>\n

India has once again officially clarified that Lord Gautam Buddha was born in Nepal.<\/p>\n

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs said in a press conference on Sunday that there was no dispute that Buddha was born in Nepal.<\/p>\n

Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had said in a program on Saturday that Buddha was a great Indian.<\/p>\n

The Indian Ministry of External Affairs has clarified that Jaishankar’s statement was about the Buddhist heritage but not about Gautam Buddha.<\/p>\n
